Thanks Heather! I am so lucky that my grandmother kept just about every scrap of paper that had to do with my dad and WWII. She kept a scrapbook of newspaper clipping and every telegram, card or letter she received while he was gone.

I have an exact copy of this letter ..was purchased in a box of papers and letters from an estate sale. I would really like to find a new home for this letter….
